2020 October show discounted tickets

Just had an email, offering tickets for next October show at £7-50 and £7 senior. That is cheaper than this years tickets.
So, is this normal to offer cheaper tickets so early after the show, or, is it because numbers were down this year, and they are trying to get the numbers for next year??

Not seen it before but just got email too. May just be a way of getting more money up front like festivals do so not necessarily to do with numbers.

When we went into the show on Sunday they didn't even look at the two tickets I had. They were just stuffed into the container in front of the attendant. Could have been anything instead of the tickets

We paid for Saturday, but just walked in on Sunday. ??

When I went to Düsseldorf they sent me an e-ticket which you scanned by holding your phone under a scanner by a turnstile, at the NEC I was sent at least 2 reminders to print off tickets with a QR code, arrived and as mentioned earlier just shoved in a box without being looked at, what about the environment, this country is a pure joke and going down the pan rapidly!
