2020 Burstner 690G

We have had a few niggling issues with our Burstner one of which is a leaking grey waste valve. Dealer has ordered a replacement valve but when I removed the plastic cover to the valve I found what you can see in the photo. Does anyone know if this is factory or a dealer attempt to fix. Thanks all.

Who’s your dealer !! That looks pretty shoddy even if a temp fix ?

That is a very temp fix, a nut fell off the connector rod , after a few weeks, so I fixed it , there is nothing underneath like the rubber!!!

Thanks Vanderek I asked the dealer if it was like that from factory or a repair they carried out but got no actual reply. They are shipping me the replacement part which if a simple installation I will install rather than drive two hours to Gloucester.
