Hi.
My " Staff " ( SIL ) has found one from Rare...? at £80 + postage . Meanwhile, back at the ranch,i have seen some from £40. Admitted the Rare one folds down etc,but all i need is for it to be easier to reach for on/off,as the drivers seat does not swivel. Any info appreciated as to sourcing one,the postage will still be added of course.
Tea Bag.
PS. More info. It is a BLUE Ducato PVC....... :ROFLMAO:

This will be the one SiL found

We've got one and would make the following comments -
  • it does make it easier to reach the handbrake particularly if you have the typical Scottish trait of short arms (along with deep pockets)!:whistle2:
  • takes a bit of getting used to the way it operates (fly off)
  • you need to be careful when exiting the vehicle as your bum can knock the handbrake off \ or you trousers can catch on it
  • the "drop down" function eliminates the above

Hi.
1. Just what i needed and thought..... and when its............OFF........ so is the vehicle if you are now outside. :ROFLMAO:
2. I have been BANNED from fabricating one. :ROFLMAO: . Plus,i have not got much 3"x4" angle iron left..................
Word of caution.
It is advised that you do not try to climb into the drivers seat of
the vehicle once it has set off. Let it go,people have been squashed/crushed when the door hits an obstacle and it tries to close.
Thanks again.

Was taught at a very early age (before I even started driving) to leave the car in gear (opposite to the way it was facing if on a hill) in case the handbrake slipped. Also try and park with the wheels facing into (and touching) the kerb.
Their website recommends this as well.
