I want to change the radio in our soon ?? to be picked-up 'van. Does the (I guess) original radio control other than the radio function? I read somewhere that the clock cannot be changed with after market radio's. I intend to fit our Pioneer AVH-Z3100DAB.Has anybody had experience of fitting after market radio/multimedia head units to a 2016 Boxer?

Not with a 2016 Boxer but our 2012 Bailey (Peugeot base) had an Alpine AV sat nav system fitted with no problems. I'm not aware of any changes between 2012 and 2016 models. Hope you get it sorted.

Dealer changed mine for my donated Pioneer (son ) one. Boxer radios are crap due to the aerial being in the n/s mirror. Tried mine in man cave no good there either

Thank you for the input. I will just have to fit it and see. Incidently we have heard from the dealer to-day, **Good News** they will be 'phoning Friday with details of picking up our 'van Yippee!! Obviously shortened sentance for good behavior ( the 'van not us)!! Fortunately the aerial on a PVC is on the roof so readio reception is very good.

Both. Reception can be improved by getting an aerial that sticks to the windscreen from Halfords. Better to change the radio for a Bluetooth model, and you can use it for your mobile as I have I get ok reception with the Pioneer. One day I will put an aerial on the roof. Can’t be bothered at the moment.
