2008 Rapido 9097 wiper faults (1 Viewer)

I'm new to here but wondering if anyone has any experience of a Rapido with wiper faults. When the wipers are turned on they go halfway and then stop and then a couple of minutes later will go again for a short time when they are switched on again. I noticed a short while ago that the headlights were working but when they were dipped they immediately went off. The light issue has stopped but the wiper issue is ongoing. If anyone had similar issues I would love to hear from you. Many Thanks

sounds like the classic earth fault. easy to diagnose, run a temporary link to the wiper motor from a known good earth. if the fault disappears make up a permanent connection

the lights could also be a bad earth on the steering column
