We've a socket that sits in the cupboard next to our fridge with a plug in it and it has "fridge" written on it as well as two other plug sockets ...

Have switched it on/off but nothing happens to the fridge, it still fires up on gas, runs when the engine is running....

Any idea why we have one, am asking as our leisure battery is being drained down rather quickly after being fully charged a week ago and although we've turned everything off that has a switch its still seems to drain down.

Did read a thread about pioneer stereos having a tendency of draining the batteries so have replaced that but do I really have to resort in isolating the leisure battery full stop.. Will it still charge when were out an about being isolated or does it have to be un-isolated as have the memory of a goldfish and prob forget to switch it back on when were out an about..

I expect your fridge is a 3 x way one that operates on , gas or 12v (engine running) or 230v ( when on EHU) , are you able to get the leisure battery tested in case it is faulty and not holding a charge ?

That will be the plug for the fridge but in use only when you have EHU (mains power).

I'll probably take it an do a discharge/refresh an then see how that goes.. Did charge it up but when I stuck on the lights it dropped about 3 bars straight away on the control panel...
