2005 Ducato - Trigano Tribute - Alarm sounds when indicating (1 Viewer)

Really hoping someone here can help!

The alarm on my 2005 Ducato Tribute is blaring whenever I indicate, or activate my hazard lights...

I've checked every door, tried a million combinations of pressing the keyfob lock / unlock etc.. I can't even seem to diagnose what it's trying to tell me, never mind how to shut it off!

This problem is intermittent - it might happen every time I use the van for a week, then be fine for 2... Very frustrating!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Loose wire from alarm to indicators?

Good shout! When I open / close using the remote I get the beep, but no indicator flash.
Still unsure why that would cause the intermittent alarm tripping

Also, whenever this is happening, the sterio won't work... which makes me think its related to the alarm thinking something is wrong?!

The unhelpful reply is to suggest you pretend you are the average BMW driver and just don't use your indicators
