2004 Hymer S820 alternator (1 Viewer)

Hi all, does anyone know what size alternator was fitted to these, it's on a Mercedes 616 chassis, there appear to have been several different ones fitted to Sprinters in terms of AH's ranging from 90 to 150ah and I also spotted a 200ah on ebay that said it was suitable just wondering if anyone has experience of this, my current one is only throwing out 13.1 volts.

I don't know how true this may be...but when our alternator broke I was told that Hymer upgrade them to cope with the extra required for a MH...
Ours is 2006 Based on a Renault Master chassis...
Having said that, I can now claim to know a bit more about 12v electrics, so doubt this, to be fact...or is it. My charge rate is 13.7v...

Normally Hymer fit uprated alternators but the only way to confirm is to get the part number off the alternator.
As it looks like it's faulty you are going to have to take it out anyway.
