MH
just looking
About to leave for France for our first ever MH trip abroad and typically something has gone wrong! Just had a new battery set up fitted, solar panel on roof, 2x leisure bateries and 1200W inverter. After getting home realised that the horn no longer works and the habitation retractable step is stuck open.
Step has had an issin the past of being a little temperamental so not sure if it is connected to the work that has just been carried out.
Can anybody help please before I totally remove the step as a last resort 😭😭

Thanks in advance

Could be as simple as fuse for both. Check manual for born fuse. Some behind driver's seat and some next to right leg depending on year.

Or also....split charge relay can control the step which could have been messed with when adding charge set up.
Did it work ok when work was first done...if so possible fuse ?

End of the day manuals step for a few weeks won't harm...but I think it's illegal to not have a working horn ? (Not that anyone will check) asit only just stopped working officer !

They could have took a d+ signal from horn as part of the charge system and knocked a connection or anything.

Probably best to speak to them and crack on..try and enjoy the trip
