2002 Hymer Ducato Speedo Cable and Gear (1 Viewer)

Has anyone had a problem obtaining Speedo Cable and Gear for 2002 Jtd 2 litre engine and gearbox, Fiat dealership said not available from Fiat anymore. Does anyone know a reliable supplier of them from stock at a sensible price?

Don't know if this will help but sent my broken speedo cable (1991 Renault Trafic) to Speedy Cables last year, they sent a brand new replacement within a week, cost about £45 inc post

Have tried local motor factors without any luck but will try on ebay - not easy to know which is correct cable and gear as lots of different types.

Thanks too to Barclaybasher and the link - will try them if all else fails as I would first have to get old cable removed to send.

That may well not be true Merick..
In my other life I often had to get all sorts of cables ( bowden and speedo ) made up..
The decent firms all know what sizes fit what and have patterns to work from

Have spoken to Speedy cables as Barclaybasher suggested but they want old cable sent to them.
Do you know a cable maker who might already have a Fiat pattern?

Have had old speedo cable removed and sent to Speedy Cables and it seems I'm not the only person with this problem.
They told me they had 3 other requests today and 2 yesterday!
Delivery of new cable will be about 2 weeks, I will let people know how it goes.
