2 x Prakto 21.0ltr Refillable Steel Gas bottles - both dated 08/2013 date of manufacture

One bottle almost empty, the other is about 60% - both fitted with proper accurate float gauges and in excellent condition. Purchased in 2014 from Autogas 2000

Buyer collects or can meet within reasonable distance. Located near Colchester
ONLY £200

This type of bottle is becoming very popular as a replacement to exchange cylinders for motorhome users, giving them the same advantages as having a fixed bulk tank. With the flexibility to fit one or two bottles to one external autogas filler point and to link directly to your existing regulator, they can be filled from forecourt filling stations in the UK and across Europe (with the use filler adapters).
The 21ltr refillable bottle comes with 4 individual valves instead of the 2 or 3 valve arrangement that is seen on some other refillable bottles.

The Valves:-

  • Takeoff valve has a excess flow valve, so if the vehicle is ever involved in a incident and the hose is severed the valve will shut the flow of gas off. This valve also replaces the rupture protection hose device as used on many "drive with gas turned on" new motorhome build and applications.
  • 80% maximum fill stop valve built in ensuring no chance of over filling with liquid LPG.
  • The pressure relief valve (PRV) is the mandatory gas bottles main saftey valve as fitted normaly
  • The offset float gauge give a better reading of the liquid gas contents of the bottle in a reading from 0-80%.

This sale is for the refillable cylinders ONLY - other fittings will be required to fit to your vehicle

The gauges appear to be the same as fitted to 4-hole tanks & if this is the case a remote gauge kit, as fitted to LPG propulsion conversions, should fit. If so this offers the possibility of an indicator of bottle contents inside the MH.

That is correct and thanks for pointing it out. The Alugas ones from @Theonlysue that have replaced these have the remote gauge wiring already in place. It is, I believe, a part of the remote gauge kit
