my 2.8 jdt if left for a fortnight .
Turn ignition on wait for all lights to go out, when you crank it injector light flashes with each turn of engin, normally tacks 4-6 turns once it's started runs fine and if you use it every day or two no problems with starting.
Only other thing it does is every now and then when it drops down to tick over it flutters a bit.
Checked all push on fuel pipes and top of tank for leaks have not found any.
Any ideas.

When was the fuel filter last changed ?

Every year mate when I servies it I.v even taken it off again to check
And put some fuel clearer through it. About three weeks ago and give it a good run.

How's the starter battery voltage after standing for a fortnight ?

Very good mate.
It's like in old days if you had a slight air leek and used to get run back.
But can.t find leek and don,t like messing with these later fuel systems.
Give me a good old Tdi any day .
