There are 2 on the reserves, I had a "wobbly" and lost the plot for a while
I am now going to chase up those who have NOT confirmed and try to get a final count..

1. Firstly you will need to join Motorhome Fun as a subscribed member. £10 for a complete year.
2. Turn up at the campsite on stated date (see first post), pay the campsite direct on arrival. Once on the list that I supply to them you will get the agreed rally rate.
THATS it... Not complicated at all..
From then on in you are free to join in with anything that is going or just relax as you wish.
It is not like any club where there are scheduled activities or trips etc.. HOWEVER, the FUN gang are well known for self organising their own entertainment so something will always be going on.. Be it music provided by some of the members, afternoon get togethers that can turn into all day partys, social meals out, etc etc..

CURRENT LIST...
The numbers have dropped off very quickly now we are getting closer.
From an original 54 interested we are now at 23... Still a good turn out..
I have contacted the campsite and changed the required group booking now to 25 places, allowing them to take bookings direct if they need to..

Hello Steve,
Never rallied but fancy giving it a try! But the thought of sitting around singing or whatever whilst listening to a Musician at whatever level amateur/proffesional simply does not appeal,however, sitting around having a bit of Craic with people along with a sherbert or two or three does along with meals out and being able to have our own space and sleep in peace when we need it does.

Do we have to commit to two weeks or should we book direct with the site? I suspect I am asking questions that others might ask but don't.

Littlewheels... Dont panic it's not all singing and dancing,,
Some like to do it but there is no obligation to join in if it does start..
Free to do your own thing.. Sitting and chatting is equally as good and we do it often..

The deal with the site is for the 2 weeks and was agreed to get the price and group booking..
You can agree to that timescale and be on the rally rate or as you say maybe book with campsite direct if you are only planning a short stay. I do know that someone did enquire about doing that when the list was very oversubscribed and at the time was told no spaces. You would maybe need to ask about that direct with the campsite.

Never done a Rally, only joined Fun as a full member recently. Can I just ask, it says dogs free, how dog friendly would it be? We have three that need a lot of exercise and like going swimming. I know dogs are not officially allowed on the beaches, but we found last year some places they could. Do you know if they would be allowed on the beach here as they are obsessed about swimming. Best suggestion is maybe email the campsite direct. Tell them you are looking to come with Motorhome Fun in March and ask the questions ref the dogs,, I am sure they will get back to you ASAP..
Then let me know if you want to be added to the list.

Please e mail the site to confirm but we have visited the site(never stopped) and Benicarlo several times and I do not think there would be any problems on the beach directly adjacent to the site. The beach is very pebbly there, there is a superb sandy beach between Benicarlo and Peniscola and even on this I would think dogs would only be banned in the summer season.

Never mind, there MAY be a silver lining..
Today is 3 months from my heart attack and on the travel insurance forms I can now tick that little box that say over 3 months...
One company has called and offered full cover (at a price ) so we are thinking it all over..
Funster rally or a Heart bypass.. ?? Decisions Decisions...

The beach is quite long and in the other direction the back road into Benicarlo is quiet and from what I remember the beach extends a fair way in that direction also.

Not sure about coastal paths or back roads and I don't remember seeing any large open spaces apart from the beach but we don't have a dog and have not really explored the surrounding area.

They grow a lot of artichokes(alcochafas in Spanish) in the surrounding fields.

We visited some friends there a few years ago and they had a dog and had no problems.

The only reason we have never stayed there is that we have friends that stay at Alcossebre, south of Peniscola, and always stay there for at least a month each winter.

No problem. I have added you on the list...

Does anyone know "Gillnphil" I have them on my list but have never replied to any of my PM's... They are the last one's that I need to get confirmed, otherwise need to make a decision on removing from list...
