It's finally ready,

We're off to calder tomorrow to pick up our new KountryLite.

It's taken a while to get it built due to adaptions but the time has come.
Roof was reinforced for a ceiling hoist for the gaffer (she uses a wheelchair)

Excited? just a little bit!

I found a v6 navara with a 5th wheel already fitted, just have to get the braking system changed, ( it's airbrakes and the Kountrylite is electric over hydraulic).
couple of day in Jockland methinks

Then monday we have to get it to halifax to have a w/chair lift fitted under the door.

This is gonna be a great summer:thumb:
Wish us luck.

Wow, I hope it goes well. :thumb:

Looked round the vehicles on a Calder stand, they looked excellent and the people seemed to know what they were talking about.

Mind you being a newbie myself everybody sounds like an expert! :roflmto:

Well that was fun.
We went up to east calder and had two nights in the van while the brake conversion was done.
I had expected them to take out the compressor and replace the trailer brake system but instead He just added their system to the vehicle,
Which means I can now tow any type of 5ver.
He half jokingly suggested I set up a sideline moving trailers for a mileage fee.:whatthe:
Anyway we brought the trailer down to lincs where we were due at the gun club for a BBQ and to make some NOISE, we stayed there till monday and everything worked perfectly.:thumb:
A great time was had by all till SOMEONE GOT THE WHISKY OUT !
(note to self,
do not leave the water heater on all the time as we now need two gas bottles refilled:Doh: )
Two nights without hook up and everything still works though the bats did need topping up.
The van is now in Elland to have the wheelchair lift fitted.
So, We've had a busy week, glad to be home for a rest now.
