1st Motorhome

Hi all
have been a long time browser and now paid up member and now have bought our first motorhome. we have bought a Rapido 999M on a Mercedes chassis 4 ton. We both have C in my case and c1 on Andree, s licence. now got to sort out insurance and all the things motorhome, inc booking in for some solar and a Vanbitz alarm (it has a cobra alarm fitted at the mo). pictures attached.

Thank you all we did hire a motorhome a few years ago to go to France so have 2 weeks of experience but that was with a coachbuilt we had booked a Bailey but there was a fault with the 12volt electrics so had an Adria sun living 6 berth for the two of us. I was suprised how good the van looks for 14 years old the photos dont show some of the imperfections but you have to expect that for its age. Thanks once again and I will keep you updated.

We have just changed from that model as we needed to downsize due to my age. Very good motorhome, we had ours for 13 years, a year old when we bought it. Did make a few changes solar and new upholstery (leather)

Not wanting to do Eddie out of any work but can't work out why if you have an alarm you want another one?

I have a ghost on my van and it's amazing, I have an alarm too.

Once again thank you for the compliment. Cyberyacht yes but poor old Jeeves will have to stand up on all the journeys lol.Hagnap the cobra alarm doesn’t look to have been fitted all that well and is possibly not working, and after reading all the reviews on the forum we have decided to go the Vanbitz route and also get discount on the insurance.

Hi Innkeeper the so called fitted alarm is a Cobra car one and not very well fitted at that the ultrasonic dooberry things on the dash are stuck down with some sticky stuff not good at all
