With an expired MOT any insurance will be invalid so how does he intend to get it back to the UK legally.

Looks great and if bought could be transported to UK for MOT or a specialist insurance may be available to enable it to be driven to an MOT station.

Turbo diesel on a USA RV - sense at last.

If it's done the most of it's miles (as claimed) in Spain, then it surely must have been regularly tested in Spain, and have a Spanish registration, as well as a UK one.

If this is the case, then it can legally, and without hassle be bought back to the UK, tested and taxed, without any customs or VAT intervention.

It looks like the hell of a good buy at the current price.

From the listing;

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WEAR INSIDE WHATSOEVER

Its done 60,000 miles, what did the owners do? tow it? Sorry just puts me off when sellers make stupid statements like that.

I believe it would be quite legal to drive it to an MOT station in England as long as it was prebooked, and insured.

The V8 GM Turbo Diesel engine was introduced around 1993 and was fitted to many RVs from then up to around 2000!!! I had one fitted in a 98 Allegro.
