SOLD 1995 Holdsworth Valentine VW T4 (1 Viewer)

As many of you know, 'Shirley' has been my gateway to Fun for the last 13 years but it's now time to move on to a newer model.

Externally, she's not the prettiest girl on the block but she's a faithful old girl and has plenty more miles left in her.

The facts:
1995 Holdsworth Valentine on a sought-after 2.4 diesel VW T4 base
Registration number: M126PUX
Mileage: Genuine 49770 from new
MOT: 5th February 2018

Cambelt changed 2016
Professionally Wax Oiled 2015
Serviced annually by Dave Newell
The upholstery is clean with no rips
It has never been smoked in but I am a dog-owner

Fittings - all in good, working order:
3-way fridge
Toilet/shower/sink
Hot water heater
3-point seatbelt on forward-facing seat in rear
Overcab double bed with ladder
Sofa also makes into a double bed
Gas fire
3-ring hob, grill, oven
Full-size spare wheel with new tyre

Extras:
Fiamma awning
Bluetooth Radio/CD player
Internal Silver Screens
Internal lights changed to LED's

I'm not going to lie to you:
There are a couple of damp patches (she is an elderly lady, after all ) but it doesn't smell musty.

The sills are a bit rusty but were patched when it was wax oiled.

The shower tray has some hair-line cracks but is perfectly usable.

So that's Shirley, warts and all. I'd like £5,000 for her which I think is reasonable.

Forgot to say, she is 5.25 metres long so can go anywhere that a Tesco delivery van can and fits in a standard car parking space.

You sure you don't want to list on eBay, auction starting at 5k?
Think you could achieve a fair bit more, without too much hassle.... don't think I've ever seen a T4 coachbuilt sell for so little!

Hi Janine I've got a T4 Valentine similar to yours which I hope to sell in the next few months to enable us to buy a lwb van conversion.However I really think your asking price is far to low & I would be hoping for double that amount
for a T4 with lowish miles & a service history.For the price your asking I think will just attract somebody looking to sell on at a very good profit.
Just my thoughts but wouldn't want you to give money away.

So pleased Janine for you and @Chugger we know you love Shirley it will be hard for you to see her go I know when our sundance went after 10yrs I broke into tears even though I had my lovely new to us Hymer on the drive and I knew sundance was going to someone who loved it as much as we did x
