Hi everyone, sorry not been around for ages.. busy time of year with work for me..
Been out on a few trips with the Hymer all been good so far but she has been stood for about 6 weeks I have started her once in that time - come to start again tonight as was going to take her for a run in the morning and noticed that the dipped headlights are not working - sides and also the high beams work.

Checked fuses (the ones in the glove compartment) they seem ok ...
Kinda flummoxed now - could both dipped beams go on both bulbs at the same time? or is there something else I could check maybe?

if any of you gurus out there have any ideas of what it could be I would be most grateful for any info...

Probably just the bulbs as the high beam will be on the same fuse, dipped beam is used most of the time & you may not have noticed the first one go if you have been driving on lit roads.

It is not unknown for one dip beam to blow & take the other out at same time. Why it happens I don't know but I've had it happen to me.

Hi ... no luck changed the bulbs but still no low beam, I have changed the fuses - is there a junction box anywhere that may have corroded? failing that does anyone know of any reliable auto electrician around Sheffield / Barnsley?

Hi Lennie I am gathering the switch works as the lights on the dash light up as if they should come on.
Its kinda flummoxing me ... there is no original connector blocks on the back of the lights just spade connectors.. had them off and cleaned them just in case but no luck.
Might have to wait till the weekend now as when I go to work its dark and when I set off back its dark boooooo

If you have a meter check at bulb connections for voltage +earth. if none then you need to check switch and work your way back
