Hi!
I wonder if anyone can help me with this question...
I live in Portugal and have a 1992 Euramobil 675 Fiat Ducato 2.5TD (Sofim 8140-27 engine)
From factory the engine oil is Selenia Turbodiesel (10W40 i think)
Now that the engine has 140000 miles on the clock i would like to put something more like 15W40.
What do you guys with these kind of engines put in them?

I appreciate any help
Thanks

Hi, My Ducato is a 1993 1.9TD and I have always used a 15/40 Semi Synthetic ( Important ). It has over 152,000 miles on the clock of which I have done 90,000 miles. I change the oil after every trip, usually around 4,000 miles. The filter is changed every other oil change.

Phil.

15/40 semi synthetic is what it's meant to have apparantly.

You two guys should post more, according to some on here a ducato will be dead after 50k and theres you two with exceedingly good milage, must be well looked after.::bigsmile:
