1990 Citroen C25
I have a 1990 Citroen C25, it's been running fine since i got it until yesterday. Its started making a really loud noise from the front, it sounds like its coming from somewhere in the engine bay but i cant figure out where. If gets louder as i accelerate and quieter when clutch is pressed or idling. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be/how to fix it?

i've uploaded some videos of the noise when in motion and stationary, the vids dont do it justice but its very loud

It is unlikely someone here will have your answer. Best take it to a reputable garage & ask for a quotation for repair. This way you may get a free diagnosis.

I saw someone with a similar issue say it was a manifold gasket, do you think it could be that in this case?

The only sound I can hear is a blow on compression, so woukd think exhaust manifold gasket. Possibly loose injector, but that would show as a misfire too. Check all over the exhaust manifold for black soot, and that will indicate where a leak is. It could be just a gasket, or warped manifold/broken studs, but hopefully just gasket.

I'm hoping its just a gasket, i've seen one online for £20-30

Look for soot around that will indicate problem. If difficult to see all areas then you can poke a piece of tissue into the area and you will see it flap, as it gets blown by the failed gasket. On my Defenders it’s common for the manifold to warp, snapping the studs, then causing the gasket to fail. I hope your is more simple.
