15v Supply needed off hook up. (1 Viewer)

Hi Friends,
Looking at an easy way of getting 15v to power an off hook up guitar amp.
In theory there are many ways but if anyone in practice can point me to a transformer than can plug in to a cigarette socket I would be grateful.

Have a look on ebay, I had a search for one that would up 12v to 19v to run my laptop.
There were a few available so I`m sure there will be one to up to 15v

I have an transformer tablet thingy that runs off 15v via a12v adaptor. It has a strange connector but no doubt it could be cut off and a different one put on.
What current do you need?

The transformer I am looking for is a 12v/15v 2amp regulated.

Takes AA batteries and sounds far far better than it has any right to. It will hold it's own with most practice amps.

You can get one for less than £50 easily enough.

I have one for my laptop that allows you to select between 12volt and 21volt and has a selection of about 8 different size end fittings. I bought it off ebay for about £15.

easy enough to achieve with a universal laptop supply. maybe you will need to make up an adapter fly lead to fit the amp jack socket
