Having seen a few posts on Michelin Cross Climate Camper tyres I thought I'd post my recent experience.
Over the past 20 years I've used either Michelin or Continental 215x70 15" camper or van tyres. They've been OK, but with unpredictable weather conditions and travelling into Europe during winter months, I decided to get all season tyres with the M+S and 3 peak symbol. Went for Michelin Cross Climate Camper 225x70 15"; so a little bigger than my previous tyres.

I've found the ride much less harsh than before (we have an ALKO chassis).. Got a reasonable deal for 5 tyres from ATS Euromaster. The speedometer is still reading over the actual speed but less than before; about 2.5% ish.

So, satisfied so far. Hoping not to need them (other than comply with legislation), but if I do I'll report on how they perform.

I'll get some of the same next year.
I need 5
My local tyre place (an independent) has offered me them for £185ea.
No discounts they say.
How did you do on cost?

am i right in thinking the 225's fit directly onto the standard 215 rim's, without any modifications ?

I swapped to 225-70-15 from 215 Pirelli and Michelin camping previous. 225 Goodyear winters are far far far better. Very impressed in ALL weather conditions.

We went with Falken all season
No plans for the Alps this winter closest may be Glenshe
Happy with them but not tried the others for comparison.
I think all season are a decent compromise for most even if wet grass is your biggest challenge.
Run the old van on winters all the time and didn't have issues but we do more motorway runs in the summer now and winters stopping distance is compromised when it's hot.

225*70 cheaper than 215*70 for some reason.

They do fit straight onto 15” rims. They cost me £768 for 5 tyres (£154 each) with a Michelin/ATS discount. Ironically they were cheaper than the 215x70’s which are slightly smaller.
