So at Camp Bestival, filled up fresh water to the brim Thursday and run out this morning. 3 of us and we have used shower etc but for 120l water tank I'm amazed that we have used that much.
So I had a few collapsable water carriers and filled a cool box to get enough for showers etc back in the tank but had to fill with a funnel, what ideally I want is a 12v pump that i can put a piece of hose on to put inside the water carrier.

All I've been able to find is submersible pumps but they wont fit in the water carriers, anyone know of a pump that self primes and can have a hose pipe attached to put inside the carrier?

I will not buy an Aqua Roll as that is Tugger gear.....

What's wrong with Aqua-roll? Many motorhomes have them and waste masters for grey water disposal.
Better remove your toilet, shower, boiler and blown air system as exactly the same things are used in caravans too
Just because caravanners use them does make them a no-no for Motorhomes

As for a water pump, just buy a regular Fiamma/sureflo type water pump and fit Croc clips and a couple of lengths of hosepipe...... Or just use a watering can.

I thought the submersible pumps had to be immersed in the water to work?

Best thing I ever did was to buy an Aqua-roll and a submersible pump.

The Fiamma and sureflo aren't submersible, they are mounted on the van floor when used for their intended purpose... To deliver water to the taps from the tank.
For your purpose just put it on the ground next to your water container.

I used to carry an aquaroll and pump. Don't do so any more just a waste of space. A cheap watering can (rectangular to save space) with a bit of tubing to extend the spout does the job if a hose is impractical.

If you want to transfer water quickly use a decent submersible - their flow rate is more than double that of the diaphragm (self-priming) pumps. I'm another Aquaroll fan: why anyone would want to carry 40+kg as an alternative to simply rolling it is beyond me.
