Is it ok to power a 12v soundbar direct from the van 12v power as this can go a lot higher, up to 14.4 or do I need a stabilised supply.

Cheers

you can get a voltage stabaliser which you can fit into the line. couple of £ on fleaby..

It will depend what voltage tolerances are set on the soundbar
It may have an upper and lower limit.....IE: 11v>14.4v
If there's no details on the soundbar data cable just fit a stabiliser to be safe

Suitable ?

you need to look at the current ( amps ) output is suitable. that looks like 2000ma or 2 amps , is that enough for the sound bar?

Most “consumer” electronics have a tight tollerance for voltage only electronic desiged for car/motorhome can coupe with the wide 12v tolerance that we see in a motorhome
