On our 2010 Burstner Solano, there is a 20A fuse on the + terminal of the engine battery that provides power to the fridge/freezer.

We had a failed starter battery replaced at Norauto in Spain. The fitter managed to dislodge the fuse whilst replacing the battery. We only noticed later in the day that the F/F wasn't working on 12v whilst driving. Found the empty householder, replaced the 20A blade fuse and worked fine.

Ours was under a hatch in passenger footwell (LHD)

I have a picture somewhere I shall try and find it.

Does your van have the Reich eBox control unit fitted to it ? My '05 plate Burstner has had the eBox fail twice on the fridge 12 volt supply. Basically the solder lands on the circuit board aren't up to handling the current that the 12volt element draws and they burn up. The first unit was a warranty replacement and the second time it failed, I had it repaired by Apuljak Engineering.

Good Luck
Have changed that fuse and still not working in 12 v Just flashes between 12v and gas but I think that fuse is the fridge one when I remove it the fridge goes straight onto gas. A call to camper U.K. in the morning I think.
