I think most cctv cameras are low voltage, likewise the 'security' webcams that allow you to watch your house being burgled while youre away. Otherwise a couple of cheap dashcams will do if you just want a recording.

Yes you can see the two dome cameras above the mirrors, which assist in pulling out and where the front corner is. Also, the other side, which assist in pulling out and where the front corner is when abroad. Also, in the window is a camera pointing backwards at an angle, to help at UK roundabout and odd junctions because it’s LHD. There is also an internal camera, for general viewing. It all feeds into a 8 channel house type CCTV recorder, and is viewed on a 20” screen viewable from the drivers seat.

All domestic CCTV seems to work off 12v and so generally it’s easy peasy. But then as my dad used to say, “ that boy is never so happy as when he's got a bit of wire. “. :gum:

You can get small 4channel (camera) DVRs specifically for vehicle use. You'd need to add cameras and a screen.
