I`m thinking installing an additional 12volt socket in the hab area to power my laptop from a 12v to 19v adapter which I have not got yet.
Question is can I tap into a nearby + and - lighting circuit for the power ? or will I need to run a dedicated supply from somewhere
TIA

It's unlikely that the wiring circuit will have sufficient current-carrying capacity to charge a laptop. Best to run a dedicated, fused supply.

Should be fine taking the supply from an existing circuit, most power sockets in Motorhom are fused at 10 amps, laptop running from 12v take around 4 amps when charging.
