I'm a newbie
I'm hoping 2 X 6Kg propane will see us through my trip to Austria in June. It will be just me and the missus plus Ted our Shi-Tzu. My plans are 13 days Airs or spellplatz. Hope to use the BBQ a fair bit to store hot water in 4 large flasks which we use for top & tails/washing up etc The remaining 8 days will be on sites using EHUs. I think the Achilles heal will be the fridge working its socks off for aprox 230 hours. Appreciate your expert opinions.

Should be plenty. I have been carrying a spare bottle around for 3 years now and still on the first 6kg one.
Granted we use charcoal bbq. and cook out side with a small camping gaz stove.
Last three trips abroad have been for eight weeks at a time so you should be fine.

Yup should be fine we did 2 weeks in Germany on 2 x 6kg last summer then 2 weeks in France in October.

We have 30lts tank which is equivalent to 2×6ltr bottles. We Use gas barby at night and Cadac for alfresco breaky... o and we luv our 2hour in oven Sunday roasts and on 3week holibags we have never run out of gas...

Should be ok, my gas lasts ages still cant justify lpg, or buy another 6kg as a spare if your worried.

Been going to France for 30 years, 2 to 3 weeks at a time and only once used the second bottle.

cannot see a problem , last summer we did 4 weeks during the hottest part of the summer in France and the fridge ran constantly on gas as well as heating the water and cooking . We used about 9kg
