Can anyone recommend a good 12 volt fan to circulate the air within the motorhome?? It does not matter if I have to hard wire into the hab batteries but does need to be low amps.

Endless Breeze - works really well but costs quite a bit, maybe around £75!!!
Try looking for one on Ebay or some of the camping shops, or they are cheaper in the USA ...

Cheers

Jim has my Endless Breeze :D
I now have a fan that shares my work kit and the 18 volt LXT battery so no wires and completely portable. Just arrived today as fan only (with AC mains adapter included) Under £30

Hi, which shop or store did you buy it from? Our son is in Seattle til Friday, might be worth sending him on a mission!

Thought the name Endless Breeze was a wind up like left handed screwdriver! It looks like a good idea - what's the best price that anyone has found?

Its a very good fan, it's not only the 12v advantage, unlike most fans its easy to pack away in a locker taking little space (y)

Couldn't go to the cost of the Endless Breeze & very limited space in 5.99m so have ordered this http://www.johnscross.co.uk/products/fiamma-turbo-kit.html (Funster discount too(y)) It can be used fixed when stationary in the Heki space as a cooling fan or extractor so in theory ideal for us as out of the way, hanging or free standing. Can even run off batteries but 8 D cells so not cheap & would add a lot of weight:( Just hope the lead reaches our 12v socket. Will see how we get on with it...

The Fiamma one is good and quite quiet.

Mains ones are usually much quieter than 12v and dirt cheap. We are currently experimenting with a 12" one (cost £12.99) and uses around 3 amps from the batteries via inverter on its top speed. As mostly used on hot days there is plenty of surplus solar power to run it. We did think of taking 16" floor standing one as we have a couple at home (around £17), these take up a lot of space though, draw around 5A on full. Probably useful in an awning if you're staying for a long time.

Fiamma Turbo Kit arrived today - swift delivery in timed slot & well packed for just over £48 (thank you Johns Cross & their Funster discount(y)) - so far looks very good. Was concerned about the size/shape with it needing a wider base to be able stand alone too but light, compact & slim with hand hold plus 2 speed settings. System to hang, window or Heki mount looks neat. Will try it out in the motorhome when we get a chance to see how well it runs & how much of a difference it makes.

Yes excellent item! Well made, light, easy to use & quiet with enough air flow to make a real difference(y)
Would imagine that the endless breeze is quite a bit more powerful looking at its specification so probably better in a larger area but Fiamma one works well in our space.

We bought an "O2 Cool fan" from the USA via e-bay.com. for around 30$
It's a 10" 2 speed fan and runs off either 12v, mains or batteries, ( not supplied)
We've found it great and installing re-chargeable batteries it will run for about 25 hours on the low setting and isn't too noisy, so ideal for keeping cool overnight
