I use a double headed tyre inflator that is fused at 45 amps. This requires direct connection to a battery. In my case I have a 500ah battery bank in my garage purely for inverter use. I didn't like having my compressor hard wired so I just installed this very cheap Anderson connection.

Nearly 200kg at the front with full water diesel and gas.
About the same at the back + or - for the bikes.
On runs home from France we dump 100kg of fresh water and spread boxed booze right through the van without being greedy :D

Thats what I used for the portable solar panels connection . Its a transit with battery under seat so not easy to get too. Brought the wires out under van and used those connectors. Overkill but works well.
Ta andy.
