on my hymer i have several small cig lighter type plugs.
does anyone know
a what these are for and
b, do they need adapters, and
c can you just get 12 v things to plug in when not hooked up eg kettle

They are probably Hella (or Euro) sockets like we have on our Burstner. Similar to lighter sockets but better.

If you do a search on here for Hella sockets you will find several recent threads which should answer all your questions.

7 years campers before that
providing heat or heating water isnt viable on 12v uses to much battery power and i think youll find there a limit on the power output of those sockets
