I have a dark corner close to a 12 cigarette socket. Anyone know of a suitable plug-in reading light? Perhaps one that has a decent cable and a clip?

Thanks - the problem I have is that I need a cable run from the socket as its at the back of a protruding shelf. I need perhaps 40cm of cable. They all see to have this fixed bendy design. I'd be happy with a clip on fixing and ordinary cable.

Thanks anyway - the search continues.

Just one thing to consider.

If the 12v cigarette socket is in the cab, or connected to the vehicle battery, an incandescent reading light bulb may use sufficient power that the battery may lose sufficient charge to stop it starting the engine after a couple of nights, perhaps even overnight:whatthe:
