Hi
Is it possible to run my rv fridge on 110 volts when travelling in order to save gas on a long trip, possibly by using an inverter, 12volts dc to 110 volts ac, how much gas do these fridges use, is it worth the effort

When wild camping I run mine on gas and it hardly uses anything, on site I prefer to hook up and use the 240/110 step down transformer to power the fridge.
