who would you recommend for quality, price, delivery and warranty
supply only and in stock (some are out of stock)

Bought mine from Hollybrook, good quality panels at a reasonable price. Better than most of the ones on eBay stronger frames have been very pleased with their performance.

Thanks so far unless I'm reading wrong
Photonics is only 1yr guarantee and German one is £160 free delivery

HPS is 5yr guarantee and £218.40 all in unless it's a cheaper A rated one

Am I reading them right and I'd prefer not to buy A grade

I got mine from Friendly Green Giant. I don't know why they don't put the sizes on their web page, but they do on their eBay listing which is where I bought from.

Saw green giant but can't risk no show on timescale or damaged on delivery.
So it looks like take a risk with 1 year or go for 5yr guarantee £58 more

Delivery has been spot on for me.. Received, I think 3 panels over several years and always arrived next day and in good order..
BUT Now I have said that someone will have a problem..

Trouble is everyone will say that theirs is the best, but I would doubt that anyone has been able to compare the performance and reliability of any other manufacturers to their own. I think it is very difficult to say that "my 100w produces x amps per day" as everyone's weather, set up, latitude, altitude and level of shading will be different to everyone else.
So Good Luck with it.
Mine's a Friendly Green Giant 100w with a second hand mppt and a gel traction battery 120ah, and of course I highly recommend it.

Before trading the last van I bought a panel from Friendly Green Giant to replace the panels I had on the roof and removed my panels which came from Hollybrook, there was a noticeable difference in the mechanical quality the Hollybrook ones had had heavier stronger frames which didn't twist when you handled the panels and the general construction of the panels looked better. A bit dearer but you get what you pay for.

I was very happy with Photonic Universe when I purchased a 100w fold up monochrystalline panel and it has performed well. Monocrystalline panels are claimed to be slightly more efficient than polychrystalline but many would argue that the quality of manufacture is more important. It seems that not all panels are the same.I chose a fold away panel because I do not need it all the time and when I do need it I can position/angle it to face the sun.

This might not make any difference to anyone but if P U get their german panels from Solarworld they are now in insolvency due to high debt.(Solarworld that is not P U).
