1 had 2 x Pfizer, Bev has had 1 x AZ Indian and 1 x AZ UK produced. News today not good.

Ferry to Spain booked for August.....can she have a 3rd jab? I wonder what the solution may be...

Who knows. The rules and advice change daily from all governments. Like most people I’m fed up with it. 3rd jab not until September.

We are in a similar position hopefully will be sorted out soon.

But why was an unapproved vaccine given in the UK? Only AZ manufactured in the UK & Europe were on the approved list this appears to be rebranded Covishield which is not yet EMA approved.

How do you know where it came from?

These are the ones which have not been approved by EMA
“Those who were given the Covishield jab will have the numbers 4120Z001, 4120Z002 or 4120Z003”

chaser your batch number appears on your card you were given when you were jabbed or nhs app

Might be worth looking at funsters recent travel threads to see what documents are looked at when crossing border. If it is your NHS records it should be ok unless they are actually checking individual batch numbers.

As we continue to cautiously reopen international travel, NHS Covid Pass will be a key service that allows people to demonstrate their Covid-19 vaccination status,” a spokesperson for the Department of Health told the Telegraph.

They added that all AstraZeneca doses used in the UK appeared under the name Vaxzevria in medical records and on the NHS app, even if they had come from India. Only the batch numbers, also included in the NHS Covid pass, identify them.

“All AstraZeneca vaccines given in the UK are the same product and appear on the NHS Covid Pass as Vaxzevria,” said the spokesman.

These are all I was given, how do they prove anything, haven't got my name or NHS number or anything, could be anyone's.

You haven’t had the Indian vaccine.

Yes , you are right but my question is how do they prove anything with no name or number, could be anyone's.
Would they accept these at the tunnel or ferry?
In my eyes they are just a worthless piece of card.

This is just for your information, a souvenir if you will. It is not proof of anything really. Just for your personal records but it will be on your GP records and if you download the NHS app if you have a smartphone it will be on there. You are OK though because your batch numbers starts PV and AB.

They would not be accepted as proof anywhere, they were just given out for your info. at the clinics.

If you don't have a smartphone [ chaser ?] you can get a .pdf if you have a printer or failing that, call 119 and they'll send you a good old fashioned paper letter :).

Those of us who took part in the vaccine trials are also disadvantaged. We have a letter saying we should be treated the same as other double vaccinated people but our vaccinations do not show up on the NHS App. I find it somewhat insulting that the Government is looking at this this as an afterthought, without people volunteering for trials there would be no double vaccinated people.

My understanding is that France won’t accept those 3 batches. It’s the same vaccine as other batches but the Indian factory has not applied for an EMA license so one can’t be issued until it does. My guess is someone high profile will need to travel and suddenly it will get resolved.

I've just checked my numbers and my first jab was 4120Z001 !!! Unhappy is an understatement 😠

Edited, apologies, returned to a rational state of mind now.

It seems to be on a country by country level at the moment and these 7 countries approved yesterday so hopefully France isn't too far behind.

Covishield is now eligible for travel to Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Ireland and Spain. Iceland, Switzerland & Estonia have already confirmed.

If it's approved by the Swiss its good enough for me 👍.
