1St trip done and dusted lol
went Friday around 3pm to Dover stayed at Sutton vale nice site can't say much about it got there late had a few drinks and some grub then crashed
got the 7 35 train to calais great way to travel
stopped off at the wine store and stocked up
then off to bruges 90mins all it took
stayed at Camping Memling
nice site new shower block being built which will be a improvement
it says take a walk in bruges but its around a 40min walk
but bus stop end of the road and if bought in advance at 2.40euro return worth the trip
bruges was a great city although expensive worth the visit
a slow return on sunday and was still home in essex by around 6pm
and a great time had by us so now cant wait for the next trip

We did Brugge last year, spent a couple of days there and felt that even that was too short.

Took one of the obligatory boat trips, fascinating history, beautiful city.

Restaurants knew how to charge though..........but worth it.:thumb:

We stayed in Bruges on the aire, it was fairly central to town on the canal close to the bus station it is I think 25 euros a for 24 hours but has hook up and water point:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

had a few crepes there

Had a few crepes there over the years and visited a few Christmas markets.. nice place and so easy to get to.
