Hello, I have a problem with my fiat ducato. Stopped the van to fill up and went to start van and it would not start again. It turns over but will not start. The key emblem remains on so I surmise an immobiliser issue. Anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it? Looked on the forums and it is an issue for the 2.2 engines but cannot find any help for the 1.9 No garages and auto electricians seem to be able to help me
Suggestions?
Stephen

Hi everyone, none of these remedies seem to work so far. I also have a keycode, but there seems no way to activate it, no keypad and none of the flashing lights for x number of flashes happen so this must not be available on this model? so i do not know why i have a keycode card and no way to enter it?
Also does anyone know where i can download a workshop manual for a 2001 1.9td fiat ducato, i can find on for older models and some for newer ones but the 1999 - 2002 seems elusive?

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Odd that a garage can't help you.
Several via Google.
Here's a hard copy one, apparently........you could have it a 48hrs

Another one to try, not sure if it uses same method as its the larger engine, assume yours is not common rail.

I have a fiat Ducato 1.9 td on a 2000/2001 motorhome with an alarm and immobiliser but I belive they were retro fitted.
What make is your immobiliser?
Mine can work on either fob or keypad entry.
