Not fulltimers but there were sheep in the vicinity.I recon that someone was full timing in it and didn’t want to step in something unsavoury
This lot were well spread out in a very large field. The lambs could be quite nosy tho’.We stayed in a farmers field once with about 50 sheep. They move around together in a bunch eating the grass (a munch bunch? )
So when they're at the van you probably can't get out.
why didn’t they just get the fridge sealed? This caravan was set up on a CL where we stayed recently.
The chunky duct arrangement was to stop the fridge fumes being drawn into the van as the fridge wasn’t sealed properly. (Yes, we asked!)
This is the first time tho’ that we’ve seen a caravan with an enclosing electric fence.
We wondered that too! Apparently the wind would also blow the fridge burner out from time to time …….why didn’t they just get the fridge sealed?

It was pretty windy while we were there - exposed Derbyshire hillside with lovely views.Either it's very windy there or more money than sense, small wind generators don't give much output unless it's blowing a gale.
It was quite sloping - we had to put wood blocks under the levellers on one side. That's on a seriously sloping field or they forgot to level side to side.
Had pigs in the New Forest in a caravan at the time got woken up with the whole van rocking, that was frightening until we found out what it was.Probably provided by the land owner. About the only irritating thing that happens with animals in a field is they use a van as a rubbing post. Cows can be particularly annoying. Lambs on the other hand regard anything new as a climbing frame.
Nope, they brought the electric fence with them. Nobody else had one and there were 4 or 5 of us scattered about the field. The sheep and lambs didn’t trouble us.Probably provided by the land owner. There was quite a complicated set up at the top of the duct - with an extractor fan and a swivelling top section with a wind vane.If the wind blows towards the end of the fridge chimney it will blow more fumes into the van than without it. I suspect they're a bit special I think most with any sense will pitch away from them!
good idea stops anyone cutting across your pitch? This is the first time tho’ that we’ve seen a caravan with an enclosing electric fence.
you can see why just looking at the way the wind generator is facing. We wondered that too! Apparently the wind would also blow the fridge burner out from time to time …….
They give a terrific output Lenny, but it's called vibration amplified by the sound box known as a motorhome/caravan.Either it's very windy there or more money than sense, small wind generators don't give much output unless it's blowing a gale.
On the towing frame there is some sort of plant in a pot - lettuce? No solar lights or plants.
Good thought but they had no kids.Maybe the fence is to keep their kids in
Needed on most sites
I suppose you could share out the kit. They can have the electric fence to keep them in and everyone else the cattle prods in case they get outMaybe the fence is to keep their kids in
