‘97 Ducato front lower ball joint change advice (1 Viewer)

i have a ball joint that is starting to wear so have decided to change both sides.
Is there anything I need to know about changing them? Can I separate the joint and lower the suspension arm enough to remove it without compressing the front springs?

You can do it without worrying about moving the bottom arm down a little further to clear the joint. It's a while since I did one but I don't remember it being very difficult - and I definitely didn't have to compress the spring.
