Reading in the Express that petrol will be £1.50 a litre by September.
It will certainly hurt me
Already at a virtual standstill, need to find waste veggie oil. Your ok on LPG aren't you?
ive already slowed down to try and keep my beloved MH hobby going.
If I go any slower push bikes will be overtaking me.
I have cut down on my little weekend jaunts, looking forward to France next month ,cpl weeks to make up for it.:thumb:
Can't afford to slow up......just have to work harder to cover the cost
I was back in the UK last week and was amazed at the number of speed-cams and signs……That slowed me down! and I noticed the difference in fuel used/saved in the hire car………..
But it was ALL costs in the UK that really stunned me, everything is so expensive….And today I see in one of the on-line newspapers that the UK is now the most expensive Euro/Western country.
It’s not happened yet, but I expect a down-turn in our tour bookings……… then maybe not, who knows. With fuel and most other expenses cheaper in mainland Europe [and yes you would expect me to say……fuel in Morocco is around 50% of euro prices] are not euro holidays in a Motorhome even more attractive?
I see today that this year the incoming passenger traffic at Malaga Airport has already increased by 37%…………
Bio-diesel now at £1.10 lt
It has slowed us down, but then I just make sure we start driving earlier
I think a lot of people are thinking about non essential car journeys, around our home town there are a lot more people walking about and using bicycles
Hopefully no need for us to slow down.
I am currently averaging between 31 & 35mpg in our Knaus Sun Ti.
But soon were off to europe & we ain't that bothered, lol
What a lovely position to be in:thumb:
you telling me i need a armoured tanker getting grief every where i go
the favourate saying being "not been hyjacked yet serious we have strict rules we stop for no one even the police !! we a silly placard to put up aginnst the window a lot that would do against any one armourdoh: expect the price to rise further when winter comes:Sad:
Slow me up! I'm already only doing 45 on the motorway so that I can wring every last yard out of her. Its not looking good for 8.1l V8's:Sad:
And I thought I had problems
BUT IT WAS IN THE EXPRESS,,why waste your money on a rag like that . They tell more lies than The Sport..BUSBY.
Where on earth did this spring from?
Looks like its more up to date than you. The OP is from 2008.
Yeh, it was 8 years ago though.
How much is diesel over there now?
It's 81c over here
£1.079 at Tesco. Yours need to be cheap as there is no need for cars on that small island and you all live under generator lights.
Previously peaked at £1.48 in 2012 so £1.50 not unbelievable still cheap historically at the moment http://www.racfoundation.org/data/uk-pump-prices-over-time . With ref to it being half that price in Morrocco I bet wages are a lot less than here so really more expensive if you are a local
