Duke 390?
Mine was a 2017 I bought new after a 10 year gap in biking (not including the scooter I bought in 2014)

Ann wouldn't get on the Duke and insisted we take the scooter, don't get me wrong they are very practical, annoyingly so, but my god it was slow to get going 2 up.

The Duke was a massive improvement and was very enjoyable, we took it to Benidorm twice and even had rides out to Alicante. Winter storage was what did for it in the end though, stuck on the back of the van all winter because other than keeping it outside there was absolutely nowhere else to keep it.

The Hornets are fantastic bikes, easily the best I've had, I thought the Duke was nice to ride until I got on the Hornet. Can't wait for May, Benidorm again but maybe only for 4 weeks and some touring through Germany and Poland on the way home in July 🤩

Photos look great, it’s actually a Duke 890R, we used to take the Duke 390 with us which was great but I realised that the 890 was only slightly heavier but the same dimensions, and loads more grunt
I actually did a deal with the OH as we had 3 bikes so I said if we buy the 890, which we use in the MoHo, we can also use it for rides out at home so we sold our BMW R1200 RS, so now we only have the 890 and a Kawasaki Z900 classic, which I will get around to selling one day 😀

I really liked the 890 and 790 but a few things put me off. They are quite expensive compared to the 390 (I only paid £3099 for mine pre registered) also the instrument panel on the 390 was buggy, ie the "Kill switch" sign kept coming on while riding, fortunately it never broke down though. And then there was the engine problem that KTM were in denial of.

Anyway when the 750 Hornet was announced and I read the specs I ordered it instantly 😆 no test ride or anything and had to wait 5 months for it.
