Premium Motorhomes

Great experience at Premium Motorhomes this month. Saw and fell in love with a Weinsburgh Carabus 600 ME and was given a good P/X price for my 12 yr old PVC. Good handover and explanations from Josh, and I drove off in my new PVC a very happy camper.

We are now nearly one year on after purchasing our Eura mobil from premium motorhomes near to Doncaster.
We have had a couple of repairs/snags which took longer than I would have liked yet this was down to lack of communication and slow parts delivery from the German factory.
I have found the premium motorhomes company to be professional and polite.
Would I use them for repairs,servicing or motorhome suppliers.
YES.

It was with some trepidation that my recent purchase was from a U.K. dealer, something I have never done in 8 motorhome purchases over the years, and taking into account the almost daily threads slagging various dealers off for lack of service, knowledge, and customer care, I didn’t expect anything different.

But, Premium had what I wanted ( a used LHD Globecar) and are a main dealer for what I wanted to sell ( large Carthago) and were open to offering an exchange deal with funds back my way! So, off we went, after agreeing a deal by numerous emails.
( I dealt mainly with Mat, one of the directors)

On arrival, their technician went over my trade in with a fine tooth comb ( a good indication that they would have done the same to the used van I was buying).

We were offered hospitality in the customer lounge, hot drinks and biccies etc. Before being taken to the van we intended to buy, which until this point had only been seen on the net.

It was spotless, inside and out, plugged in to EHU, water in the tank, gas connected and on, heating on, and we were given as much time as we wanted to fully examine and test everything, before agreeing the deal. Once agreed, Missus BD was presented with a huge bouquet of flowers, and one of their technicians (Bryn) did a ‘formal’ handover, explaining all of the systems and tech info etc.

They took care of all of the paperwork, even the V5 and tax was all done online in their office, plus all the warranty registration, the cash difference was transferred from them into my bank instantly, and we drove away happy with nothing left to do!

In fact, we arranged to return the next day since we were going g to stay local that night ( yes, no booking months ahead!) to have the same tech guy fit a solar panel and a couple of extra sockets.

Again, we were well looked after, with the receptionist even ordering lunch for us delivered from the local bakers!

Overall, a very good experience, and we weren’t even buying one of their very expensive Carthago’s or Morelos, we were the other way round, downsizing and down pricing, therefore my review is not that of someone going there and spending £100k+. !!!
