When I was putting together the specs of the kit I wanted fitted into the motorhome we were having built for us in Italy, one of the key requirements was maintaining internet connectivity and preferably at the operating lowest cost as we are travelling for about 3 years all around Europe.

I had Adam send over an IBoost and a roof top mounted 4G rooftop antennae with 12V charging connection. The antennae was fitted by our dealer with no problems and the mifi unit and charger sit on the wall inside the bathroom cabinet.

We have not had to use the 4G setup too often as we are usually able to access wifi, but when we have, it works flawlessly and certainly amplifies and delivers the available signal perfectly The roof top aerial is slimline and unobtrusive.

The IBoost system is an absolute winner and has given us good stable wifi in many many places where we would have struggled or had to use expensive local data SIM cards in the mifi. These are worth their weight in gold and certainly one of our best purchases. I bought the carry box as well and this was money well spent. Whilst not condoning such practices for a moment, for the cost of a coffee you can find out the wifi password at a nearby cafe then point your antennae back at them and voila - internet for as long as you sit there.

Adam has given me lightning fast support on the couple of occasions I didn't read the instructions properly.

I write this now sitting in a camper parking area in Istanbul where the wifi is far too weak and other campers have to sit outside the office to read emails on their phones. We are cosy and warm inside the camper while the Iboost does its job for us.

Thanks Adam for a great product and overall great service.

We have in Hawaii connected to motorhome Wi-Fi antenna on the roof and wife uses the Internet on her journeys. It's very seldom drops out signal and we are very very pleased with it. we are off to Europe in January and will see how it fares on the continent. We have nothing but superb service from motor home Wi-Fi always ready to help whenever you call them. Prompt delivery of equipment. Five-star service.

    I boost from motorhome wifi
    5/5, 5 out of 5, reviewed Aug 10, 2017
We have used ours for our 7 month trip, used on numerous sites and situations excellent bit of kit .Not cheap, but money well spent. Able to get on free (only at reception type site) internet without problem and also multiple devices 2xkindle laptop 2xphones set them once job done whenever boost is on they connect, so no setting everything up each time. BUT do not be mislead..... they do need more or less clear line of site to wifi source and although they do boost signal well they do not work magic signal too weak you wont stand much chance, and of course if very slow internet source will not increase speed. A must have for me but then I am into gadgets but this has been a boon for us on our extended trips.

I purchased the HUAWEI 873b together with a roof antenna in March of this year. Absolutely delighted with the product, its unbelievable using a 3 SIM card. Great pre and after sales service and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

    A 'must have' for me...

As a full-timer I rely a lot on wifi to keep in contact with family and friends and this has proved invaluable over the years. It turns a barely workable signal into a stable connection on some campsites and aires and, although I have other options available (mifi), I always use this when I have the option except for home banking.

We stay on site in Spain quite a lot in the school holidays and the kids always need paid for wifi. With this little gadget we can all have it for the price of one and with a much stronger signal than without one. I must have had mine about 5 years now and there is no question it has paid for itself.

We also make use of BT Wifi in the U.K. but have had no luck with Fon abroad but I don't think that's the gadgets fault.

The iboost has work brilliantly for me, especially when in France the only wifi was in a wind and rain swept shelter next to the reception, I was sitting in my warm Motorhome with perfect wifi signal 150yrds away...

Only had one problem setting it up one time as I forgot what to do and an email to the suppliers on a Sunday night got me a reply within an hour..! (y)

    The iBoost from MotorhomeWifi
    4/5, 4 out of 5, reviewed Jul 18, 2017
I use an iboost quite a lot; I'm using it right now. We are living in our camper in the garden while renovating an old house. Without the iBoost the signal is poor and intermittent. With it, it's rock solid and as good as being in the house. It works exactly like that on a campsite, those pitches that no one uses because of poor site wifi can now be used. No more do you have to put up with a poor pitch just because it has wifi. With the iBoost, all the pitches can have good wifi.

Once the iboost is connected to wifi, you can connect your phone, tablet or laptop to it. Just like you'd do with your wifi at home. It's great when you buy a wifi pass for just "one machine", but when that one machine is your iBoost any number of other items hook up to it, so you save money.

Though it will take you quite a while to recoup the cost, they are not cheap, (about £160 as I write) but when you can get a connection with it where others can't; you'll think it priceless.

Knocked a star off because you can't change the device SSID (the name of the network it produces) or more seriously, you can't change the password. However, I believe these issues will be rectified in later editions of the product.

Hi Jim - I have a HUAWEI Mobile Wifi, using 3 and generally it is very good but sometimes abroad the signal is "iffy" - Question is an I-Boost used in conjunction with my mifi or instead of it?
