I cannot really find anything good to say about this company.

I have their Motorhome Dealer Care Platinum Warranty, and in the course of the twelve month term have had three claims rejected. The first two were rejected due to the faulty items being named exclusions in the policy - which I accept, but dont really understand why they are excluded. Surely a side marker LED and window blind are fundamental parts of the motorhome that could fail. They are not wear and tear items and just seem to be arbitrarily excluded from cover.

The third claim was for a factory fitted infotainment unit with software problems. The manufacturer of the unit, the vehicle converter and the supplying dealers technical department were all unable to offer a resolution of the faults and suggested replacement as the only solution.

After 3 months and 50 emails back and forth with MB&G they rejected the claim as software problems are excluded in the small print of their terms and conditions, and an intermittent fault does not fit with their definition of a 'Mechanical breakdown' that is required to validate a claim.

Their default position seems to be to almost reject the claim in the first instance, or at least make pursuing it hard work, and then either ignore or disagree with any rational arguments and points put forward. Responses can be slow and unhelpful with every point made to the claims agent needing to be 'referred back to the underwriter' for a response.

For me the policy simply has no value at all, so I could not recommend it in any way.
