Dicksons of Perth

Wife was not a happy bunny with our Hymer, bathroom too tight, seating area too small.
I was looking for a Frankia i640 but always out of our budget.
Knew Dicksons had one, and just happened to look and they'd dropped the price substantially to within our budget.
So we were passing on our way south so stopped in and showed wife the Frankia.
She saw the seating and bathroom and said yes !! That's the motorhome for us. (We had Hymer B544 previously) and they are similar.
Chris offered us a good p/ex and we said yes , took it out, asked him to fix a few small things and picked it up a week later. The handover was good, he even did two videos of the van everything had been fixed.
Excellent service and very happy.

We called into Dickson's in October 2018 to look at their extensive range, we decided that a 700g Pilote was just what we wanted. The salesman ( Chris ) offered us a great PX deal with a 3 month wait for delivery. The van duly arrived in January but I was too ill to collect it. Chris agreed to keep the van until I was recovered, my health did not improve until February and collection was agreed for 1st March. Not once did Chris complain about the delay. Hand over was great and all of the extras had been fitted well. Our satellite system had been transferred and fitted from our old van without charge. Hand over was excellent. We spent two nights on a site in Perth and found a couple of minor problems, these were fixed immediately.

We were getting to the end of our tether with my Auto trail so decided to visit a few dealers in the area. After visiting the larger dealers I remembered Dicksons in Perth.
The place is a bit of a tardis as the frontage doesn’t look much as it’s squashed in next to a Magnet showroom. In the back it’s full of second hand and new motorhomes and campervans. On arrival Jan spied the ideal van, which turned out to be one of their hire fleet, Doh.
I went in to enquire what I would get for my old van, after speaking to one of the owners Tim I proceeded to order a new Rollerteam. I was told my van would arrive in the beginning of July which I was happy about.
On handover day my van was ready as promised and there was no issues with my old van, they didn’t even look it over, I must have an honest face.
I dealt with John who came across as honest as a salesman could be, great to deal with all the way through.
I contacted the service department to book next years habitation check and they were very accommodating with a great attitude.
