Varta leisure battery date codes 2020-09-03

Varta battery codes... As far as i can find this seems correct.. Varta leisure batteries have a code etched into the case of the body. You ignore the first three letters. The following 3 numbers then relate to the chart and give its month and year of manufacture. The row at the top indicates months, ie Jan - Dec going left to right. I tracked this down after buying a used van and unsure how old the Varta LFD90 leisure batteries were. Mine seem original as Feb 2014. I have checked with a battery supplier with a code they had on new batteries when i bought tem and their stock was December 2019, so seems to match up.
