We are off to a site for the weekend and meeting up with Sister and BIL in their motorhome , we have all had both jabs and us two had the virus in December.
We normally spend time in each others motorhomes in evenings to sup a bevvy or three and on the face of it should be safe to do this now but it’s contrary to the covid regulations , should we and would you??

We had friends visit last weekend and stay in their my on a site near us. We stayed outside all the time. Were also away this weekend and staying on a site near our daughter rather than parking on her drive as I suspected staying on her property in our MH is outside the regulations

Eight Years and 28,000 Miles.
Met up with my Son and his family over the weekend on a site, they had a glamping pod.

Haven't seen him or our lovely grandsons since Sept last year.

To bloody right we socialised in the Moho.. seeing kickballers kissing and cuddling each other (to mention one example) etc, makes a mockery of it all 😡

I'm not sure, but arent sports teams isolated and in their own bubble?

Breaking rules is what makes a mockery.
How does that work Jim?

All the squads living together? How many in squad 20?, how many squads?

It’s a nonsense, boxers sweating all over each other.. rugby teams.. the list is endless.

i am planning to do just this on Sunday night. However, I would consider that staying in the motorhome is self contained accommodation wherever it is actually parked.

Long as you are wearing your face coverings indoors it complies with the rules.

Just because someone else takes the risk it doesn’t make it safe or right for you but that’s your choice

3rd wave definite if we don't keep apart. I haven't seen my sister for 8 months but would NOT risk anything after over a year locking down.
It's the irresponsible people that will create more infections. We see others not giving a s... but do we have to be like them???

No you are not allowed to go inside with your relatives who like you are fully vaccinated, you can however go to Lidl (other stores are available) & walk round with loads of people who probably aren't vaccinated & have just touched the same products as yourself!

No it doesn't! Where does it say that in the rules. You're only allowed to walk through to get to an outdoor area or use the loo so unless you've got a Roman style one that seats everyone at the same time it's out!

It seems that your working with the two wrongs make a right principle.
Cast an eye towards India & see what happens when the rules are ignored.
Governments don't spend billions of £s just to annoy us with a few iffy rules.

Please be careful folks, we are nearly on top of this virus, but careless behaviour could bring it back with a vengeance.

But shops are not such a confined area and in shops masks must be worn but not in homes.

Several years now
Just a snippet from Dr John Campbells video from last night.

He said that he had been talking with a friend in India who is an ICU doctor in a hospital there. The Indian guy said that since March 2020 they had on average seen 75 Covid patients in their ICU each day. Obviously more in there now.

However since they started vaccinating there has been 0 (ZERO) patients in the ICU who had done the two vaccines.

If you have all been jabbed, plus the two / three weeks waiting time you've got next to no chance of infecting each other and becoming ill.

Go for it.

This is exactly why hand hygiene is ultra important & where face masks are problematic.

People do wear their masks, but then pull them down around their chins & rub the edges of their mouths before sanitising.
If you don't believe me, just sit outside a shop & observe human behaviour, its actually addictive.
