I was sitting up in bed this morning oiling my bike, when I thought what are my favourite words ?
Three immediately sprang to mind. All Indian ? derived, perhaps cos' my Dad served in India before the war. Sorry rambling. Anyway here goes :-
JUGGERNAUT
MAYHEM
HOOLIGAN
'My Dad was a psycho-ceramic. Yes, he was a crack-pot, alright'.
(Sir Ken Dodd, RIP).
Okay, wot's yours ?

Havn't a clue why. Just repeat it a few times. It sounds 'strange'.

Poppety ping. My microwave is always referred to as a poppity ping.

You must live in Wales, the correct Welsh word is microdon (the 'don' bit means wave) but popty is Welsh for oven, so an oven that goes ping, could well be a popty ping

Wibli Wobli, which I was told was the Welsh word for a jellyfish but I wouldn't bet on it!

pysgodyn wibli wobli (pronounced "puh-skod-in wibbly wobbly") is not Welsh for jellyfish, but I think it should be - it is 'slefrod môr'

My favourite - which probably changes every hour or so is BLASTING as in blasting on my motorbike
