Is it written on the tank? Or, yellow bottle for Gaslow and red for gasit. Little difference between the two except, maybe, purchase price.

One is orange =gasit
The other is yellow = gaslow

The difference is gaslow bottles are twice as expensive:)

No differences they are both refillable systems. Its your choice as to which system you buy.

There are others, including Alugas and someone makes one you can see through I believe.
Gaslow for me (As my dealer fitted it free when I bought the van).

Hilldweler has this up for sale..
Just tidying up the garage, here sits a 12kg yellow gaslow tank with gas in it. Dated 2007 and lifed to 2022 ( when I think you get it tested ). It's the early version without inbuilt gauge but has a pressure gauge in outlet.

Took it out of old van and found it would not fit new on.

Tank only. The outlet is standard Calor and we had a regulator screwed directly into it. You would need a filler and pipe.

£50 but collect from Macclesfield.

Could it be your colour blind @Northernraider:D2. Often people who are will see Red as a different colour!

Don't think so everything else that's red looks red and when I hold a red thing next to my gas bottles they look orange.

They did when I worked for Boc too lol

Before you rush in dont forget that refillables should be re tested at 10 years old and according to one supplier must be exchanged at 15 years old. There are a coupe of companies that will test them in the uk but I havent got as far as enquiring as to the cost of retesting. Presume co's with cylinder rental/exchange like Calor do this all the time and that must be part of the bottle cost

Don’t think she’s looking to buy if you read the OP she wants to know what she’s got.

I am also intrigued why knowing which make you have can constitute an urgent need

To me it does imply a problem rather than a like to know (y)

Sorry for late reply everyone, dog training classes then had to eat.
No problem, have purchased MO but want gas in it, dealer can only fit gasit, so wondered about gaslow, had price of 635 plus fitting locally, dealer is doing gasit in with other things being put in van so not sure what they are charging. Have had gaslow in past, stupid, should have kept it, but went to smaller van and now going bigger agIn, why do we do these silly things.
Trying to find out cost of fitting other items, Sog loo 355, think to much.

Just really is gaslow any better than gasit or other way round and why?
before making any wrong decision.

Love all the replys

£635 for gaslow!
£355 for SOG!
Someone's having your pants down!

I reckon your been charged over £200 to drill a hole and connect two gas bottles. And £250 to drill a hole and connect a SOG to the 12V supply.....
