Replacing wing mirror indicator lens Mk8 (1 Viewer)

You know how it is... ( well I didn’t ....... but do now).
BANG. w.t.f. .....you hit a wing mirror, says co pilot.

The clear plastic Indicator lenses now needs replacing , had a quick look and not clear how to do this.

So help, any body know how to get the lens off and replace please.

Nope, it’s a Ford Transit mk8 2014 onwards. Might be of course , irrespective of the year and make, that all wing mirror indicator lenses are very similar in putting together.

Might be. Says to take the mirror glass off to acess the screws
Sounds like the way to go........ except how do u take out the Mirror glass.?

Thank you Minxy girl.

I have a long arm two mirror , wing mirror. Both mirrors came off as shown in the clip above from Minxy girl.
Used a screw driver for leverage,it takes a bit of effort as mirrors clipped on tight. Upper mirror has wires attached to bottom for adjusting motor, but plenty of play. Bottom mirror for cyclist blind spot a lot tighter.
Then 2 torrix scews, one behind upper mirror and one behind lower mirror and off the lens pops. There are a few screws behind mirror,but mine were marked red ,and were the smallest heads in any case.
New lens on the way, less than £9.00 . Happy bunny now

I changed the indicator lens on my Peugeot after watching a YouTube video and I’m a girl! It was really easy.
